She was born July 29, 1933, in New Castle, Indiana to the late Cleo & Anna (Stubbs) Thomas.
Joyce married the love of her life Marvin and enjoyed several years of marriage until his passing. She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Henry Co Bells playing at several events throughout the years. She was an amazing quilter as well as she loved to knit. More than anything she enjoyed her time with her precious family who she loved dearly.
Joyce is survived by her daughter Joyan (Bob) Smith: 2 grandchildren Bria (Paul) Slover & Lyle (Chelsea) Smith: great-grandchildren; Brayden & Avery Slover, Ryleigh, Ryker, Rowan & Rhett Smith as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family survive.
Joyce is proceeded in death by her parents listed above, her husband Marvin and sister Janet Murphy.
Burial will take place at Greenhills Memory Gardens.
