Mr. Garriott, a retired Army veteran, was born in Markleville, Indiana, and moved to Arizona 15 years ago. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; daughters, Lonnetta Wilson, Billie Hitchcock and Vicki; sons Robert and Garold; a sister and brother; and 11 grandchidren.
Services will be 4 p.m. today at Gibbons Bunker Desert View Chapel, 9702 E. Apache Trail.
