Juanita Hope Romo Jackson, 79, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in Waco, Texas.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Saint Francis on the Brazos with Father Eduardo Jazo officiating. Interment will follow in Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m -8:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m., on Monday, March 20, 2023 at the funeral home.

Juanita was born on February 3, 1944 to Cristino C. and Lucille Gamboa Romo in Waco, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Waco. Juanita was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. Juanita served as a missionary in Mexico for several years connected to church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and providing for her family.

She was precede in death by parents, husband, Donald R. Jackson, daughter, Roseann Maciel, son, Andres Maciel II, sister, Tina Ubiedo, brother, Cristino Romo, Jr.

Survivors include her daughters, son, 9 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
