Ms. Diane Carol Denning Barefoot, 63, of Dunn, passed away Thursday, March 16 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
A visitation will be held Sunday, March 19 from 2:00 - 3:00 at West and Dunn Funeral Home in Erwin. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Sandy Grove Cemetery following the service.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, James and Clara Denning; her husbands, John Wayne Jernigan and Larry Barefoot; and a nephew, Brian Denning.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Christy Jernigan Wilson, John Jernigan (Angie), and Alex Batten (Charity); her grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Wilson, Christopher Wilson, Brayden Jernigan, Emma Jernigan, Bentley Jernigan, Naomi Jernigan, Jasmine Jernigan, Elizabeth Grace Batten, and Jamie Lou Batten; and great-grandson, Christopher Wayne Wilson; her siblings, sister Linda Byrd (Ron), brother Ron Denning (Joan).
