Christine Dorten, 82 of Warsaw, Ky., formerly of Carrollton, Ky., died Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at Gallatin Health Care Center in Warsaw, Ky.

She was born May 16, 1925, in Louisville, Ky., the daughter of Tommy and Eleanor Baker Estes. She was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Church in Carrollton, Ky. She was also a member of the United Methodist Church choir, a member of the United Methodist Women, a past worthy matron of the Order of Eastern Star of Carrollton, Ky., a leader of M. Y. Fellowship and a member of the Ghent Homemakers Club, Madison Bowling League and Madison Golf League.

She is survived by her husband, Cecil H. Dorten; three daughters, Nancy Raisor of Jeffersonville, Mary Pat Williamson of Victoria, Texas, and Judy Tumbrink of Memphis, Tenn.; one son, Glenn Dorten of Lexington, Ky.; one sister, Aline Clark of Louisville, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Cecil Lee Dorten; her parents; and one sister, Beatrice Estes.

The funeral was at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton, Ky. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton, Ky.
