Larry Richard Power of Quapaw died Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo. He was 64.
Mr. Power was born April 23, 1943, in Lincolnville to Thomas "Tommy" Richard and Lavada Marie Wood Power. He had moved from Tulsa to Quapaw.
He was a Vietnam War veteran serving in the U.S. Army.
He was a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of the Sand Springs Christian Fellowship.
Survivors include four daughters, Elizabeth Wilson of Noel, Mo., Tracy Power and Cynthia Schoenhals, both of Quapaw, and Cymber Power of Tulsa; two sisters, Anne Williams of Quapaw and Mary McCarty of Commerce, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Picher. The Rev. Frank Phillips will officiate.
The body has been cremated.
