Harrington - Michael Oscar Alley, 61, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on May 13, 1955, in Jonesport, a son to the late William (Arpie) Oscar Alley and Hattie Irene (Johnson) Alley. Mike was self-employed as a clam and worm digger for most of his life. Throughout his years, he enjoyed deer hunting, playing softball, horseshoes, camping, singing, and dancing. He felt most fortunate spending time with his family and grandchildren, especially during the holidays and always appreciate the little things in life.
He was predeceased by his parents, four brothers-William Oscar Jr., Jeffrey Dean, Roland Gene and Bernard Alley; two uncles-Richard and Leroy Alley and aunt Georgianna Allen.

His is survived by three daughters - Jillian Alley and companion, Shannon Crowley of Jonesport, Mattie Alley and companion, Ned Merchant Jr. of Harrington and Hattie Alley of Jonesport, grandchildren - Damian Reyes, Alexis Alley, Nataya Merchant and Bransen Merchant, five sisters - Kitty Robinson and husband, James, Lisa Emerson and companion, Michael Holubek, June Alley and companion, Bruce Simons, Laurie Connors, Lynne Merchant and husband, Ed, two aunts - Elsie Stauffer and Annie Lindsey; Uncle Jasper Johnson and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many special friends, Arlene and Dwight Smith, Alberton Sr. and Carla Merritt, Florence Leighton and Denny Farnsworth, Sheba Merritt, Cathy Merritt, Phyllis Merritt, Bea Dobbins, Cindy Mills and Tom Phillips, Wade Faulkingham, Troy and Gay Crowley, Frank and Sarah Alley, Rick and Corbett, Adam and Rebecca Stanwood, Dean and Teresa Alley, Vinnie and Sally MacLean, Daniel and Nicholas Graham, Jane Crowley, Donnie Smith, Helen Nicely, Marla Beam and many more.
