Mrs. Handley was a resident of Jasper and former resident of Etowah County. She was a lifelong member of the Baptist church.
She is survived by her son, B.J. Roberts, Rainbow City; daughter, Betty (Roberts) Jones, Gramercy, La.; son-in-law, the Rev. Sam Jones, Gramercy, La.; sister, Ora Belle Rollins, Jasper; granddaughters, Diana Giardina, Linda Roberts, Janet Callahan, Carol Smith, Jeanna Carroll; and 10 great-grandchildren.
