Harriet Noble was born March 23, 1788, to Medad and Lydia Travy Noble. She married Delanson Foster, Sr., February 10, 1805, in Pompey, New York. Only two months after the birth of her eleventh child, Maria, Harriet Noble Foster died August 8, 1831, in Warners, New York, leaving seven children under the age of 18. Harriet's epitaph is located on the Delanson Foster monument in the old Warners Cemetery and reads as follows: "HARRIET NOBLE, wife of Delanson Foster. Died August 8th, 1831. Aged 43 years, 4 months and 15 days."
