A native of Syracuse, he lived in Bridgeport for 16 years.
He was a veteran of World War II, a member of American Legion Post 41 and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8440.
He also belonged to Scriba Masonic Lodge, Constantia. Mr. Hagemann was a member of Tigris Temple in Syracuse.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Hagemann; two sons, Theodore Hagemann, Jr of Bridgeport and Richard Steadman of Syracuse; three daughters, Mrs. John Euson, and Mrs. Beverly Meyers both of Bridgeport and Mrs. Carol Sampson of Syracuse, two brothers Willliam and Frederick Hagemann, both of Syracuse and a sister, Mrs. Beatrice Hall of Syracuse, nine grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Services were 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Vandermill-Traub Funeral Home, Bridgeport. Burial will be in Bridgeport Cemetery.
