Mother of Ed T. Anderson, Patys [Anderson] Vincent, and Sarah Caroline [Anderson] Hopson. Mary was the third wife of James Anderson (Sulphur Creek) of the Kettle area of Cumberland County, Kentucky. She moved with her son and daughters from Cumberland to Fannin, County Texas in 1889 where she resided until her death. She had numerous grandchildren by all three of her children.
