Mr. Banks passed away Saturday, March 11. 2023, at his home for over 60 years. He was born November 25, 1938 in Kerens, Texas to Roland Jones Banks and Lois Fay Washam Banks. Mr. Banks worked for and retired from United Telephone Company where he worked in the warehouse as a manager.
Mr. Banks was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Martha Turner Banks and step-son Derrel Wayne Robertson. He is survived by his step-son, David Robertson and wife Carolyn, step daughter-in-law, Lana Lively Robertson, sons James Banks and wife Cathy, and Roland Jay Banks, nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
