Mrs. Woolard was born in Beaufort County on July 5, 1911, daughter of the late Wiley Sylvester Woolard and Agnes Rawls Woolard. In November 1936, she married Lindsey McMullan Woolard who preceded her in death on July 13, 1993. Mrs. Woolard was a homemaker. She was a member of Old Ford Church of Christ, taught the Junior High Sunday School Class for 37 years and Vacation Bible School for many years. Mrs. Woolard was a volunteer at Beaufort County Hospital and the Beaufort County Mental Health Association. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by one son, three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
