Kenny was a 1944 graduate of Cadiz High School where he excelled at baseball, basketball and math. Following graduation, Kenny was drafted into the US Navy and served during WWII. Upon his return from the war, Kenny began working at Rittenour-Lewis Insurance Agency in Markleville as an insurance agent; he eventually became owner and served the community for 22 years.
Kenny is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jane E. Lewis of McCordsville; children, Kenna (Chip) Hawkins of Jacksonville, FL, Karel (Jack) Cole of Selma, IN, Charles "Chip" Lewis of Washington, D.C., Martin Downing of Atlanta, GA, Marcie (Lisa) Hanson of Noblesville, IN and Scott (Nicole) Downing of Orlando, FL; grandchildren; and great grandchildren.
Arrangements entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown, with burial at South Mound Cemetery in New Castle.
