Madge was the 4th of 6 children of Thomas Hodge Yearian and Emma Agnes Russell. She married Ralph Petty Quarles, Jr on April 9, 1921 in Challis, Custer, Idaho. On February 16, 1922, their daughter Mary Margaret Quarles was born in the log house once owned by Emma & Thomas Yearian, and then owned by Madge. Madge later filed for divorce and it was granted in April of 1924 by District Judge Ralph W. Adair in Blackfoot, Bingham, Idaho, per a request in writing from Madge on March 14, 1960, Lemhi, Idaho, per a response in writing on March 16, 1960 from the Clerk of the District Court.
She married Robert Owen Wilson on September 23, 1932, in Dillion, Beaverhead County, Montana. Madge's daughter Mary Margaret Quarles was 10 years old when they married. Unfortunately her father was not a part of her life when growing up and he only reached out and visited her when she was in her 40's and his grandchildren who were in their teens, never meeting his other grandson who was an adult then. Owen was the only father she knew growing up.
