Luaine Andrys, 86, of East Grand Forks, MN died Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the Edgewood Vista, East Grand Forks, MN. Luaine Andrys was born September 27, 1929 in Gully, MN the daughter of Helmer and Tillie (Nyland) Brenna. She grew up in rural Gully, MN. She married Lewis Pierce in Mason City, IA on December 14, 1949. They lived in Crookston, MN until moving to Grand Forks in 1953 when they purchased Lake of the Woods Bus Line which became Star Bus Line and then Triangle Bus Lines. Lewis died Feb. 19, 1992. She married Herman Gerszewski on April 23, 1994 in Grand Forks. Herman passed away on December 4, 1995. She married George Andrys in June of 1997, and he passed away in October of 2011. She is survived by children, Dorothy (Dale) Fish, of Sioux City, IA, Alett (Harold) Boyd, of Virginia Beach, VA, Kim Torgerson of Arvilla, ND and Tammy (Craig) Slininger of Grand Forks, ND; fifteen grandchildren, and many great- grandchildren; sister, Shirley (Tom) Maroney of Coon Rapids, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Leon Pierce; daughter, Carlean Evans; sisters, Mavis Klema, Violet Huot; and brother Harvey Brenna. Funeral Service: 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 24, 2015 in Dahl Funeral Home, 2029 Central Ave. NW, East Grand Forks, MN Visitation: One Hour Prior Funeral Service on Saturday in Dahl Funeral Home.
