Winifred Holland Brannon, 86, of Valdosta, died on Saturday, July 16, 2005, at her residence. Mrs. Brannon was born in Moultrie to the late Allen Lester Holland & Joy Shierling Holland.

She was a Bridal consultant and was a member of First United Methodist Church and was a memer of the Merry Makers Sunday School Class.

She is survived by one daughter and son in law, two sons and one daughter in law, four grandchildren, one great grandchild, three brothers and two sisters in law, Remer L. Holland of Bradenton, FL, James R. & Betty Holland of Athens, GA, and Hoyt L. & Faye Holland of Moultrie; and a lifelong friend Viola Neff of Cairo, GA. She is preceded in death by her husband George Wight Brannon.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2005, in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend David Hibberts officiating. Burial will follow in Cairo, GA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1292, Albany, GA, 31702.
