Carolyn Ann Atchley, age 79 of Gatlinburg, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
She was a loving aunt and a friend to everyone she met. She was previously employed by the Wishing Well, other various shops in Gatlinburg, and lastly the Kilwin's Ice Cream Shop until 2018.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her mother Jennie (Mathews) Atchley, father Brian Atchley, brother Clyde Atchley, sisters Betty Jean Atchley, Louise (Atchley) Thomas and husband Winfred (Wimp) Thomas, as well as her nephews Jack, Bob, Bill and Mike Thomas, and great-nephews, Jimmy and Stephen Thomas.
She is survived by her nephew Jerry Thomas and wife Kay, niece Mary Thomas and many great and great-great-nieces and nephews, and one great-great-great-nephew. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Sevierville Health and Rehabilitation Center for their care and support.
The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Monday, March 13 with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
