Gerberga (also spelt Gerberge) was the wife of Carloman I, King of the Franks, thus making her Queen Consort of the Franks. Very little is known of Gerberga.

In 773 Charlemagne invaded Italy. Gerberga took refuge in the monastery in Verona where she died the same year.

Gerberga bore her husband Carloman two sons and a daughter :

Pepin, Prince of the Franks (b. bef. 769)
Unknown son (b. c770)
Kunigunde or Auberge ?

[Somewhat difficult to believe that the King had three children while a teenager]
