Finally at home and no more in pain ~ Glenda Darnell Townsend, 71, of Buna, Texas, passed away on March 8, 2023, peacefully surrounded by family.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Murry Ray.

Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Buna, Texas.

Visitation will begin 12 noon, Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas.

Glenda was born in Orange, Texas, on September 8, 1951. She was the daughter of Earles Lee Clark and Barbara Jean (Smith) Weeks.

Glenda was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She devoted her life to taking care of her family and making sure they had a good life. She loved shopping and cooking a good meal for everyone. In her free time, she enjoyed listening to country music and traveling, especially to craft shows. Glenda was raised Pentecostal and loved her Lord. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Townsend, her father, Earles Clark, her mother, Barbara Jean Weeks and her grandson, Joel Douglas Fenner (46101093).

She is survived by her daughters, Sherrie Loncon and husband Mark, Michelle Holle and husband Stephen and Jayna Fenner and husband Joey, her grandchildren, Shelby Dean and husband P.J., Jarod Fenner and wife Christina, Morgan Bailey and husband Zachary, Madelyn Holle, Lindsey Fairchild and Jodi Fenner, great-grandchildren, Brayden Marcus, Colt Fenner, Brantley Fairchild, Layken Fenner, Jaxon Bailey, Maverick Bailey, Savanna Fenner, Brody Dean, Dawson Dean and Amelia Buentello, her sisters, Shirley Heard and Lisa Clark, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Loncon, Stephen Holle, Joey Fenner, Jarod Fenner, P.J. Dean and Zach Bailey.

Honorary pallbearers are Arturo Jimenez and Skyler Brown.
