Evelyne C Bailiff, age 90, of Stonewall, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. Evelyne was born in Castor, Louisiana.
"Evelyn was a devoted military wife, loving mother and grandmother. She treasured time with her family. She was a wonderful cook who loved organizing meal times with family and friends, especially her peach cobbler. Evelyn loved sewing and spending time in her garden and enjoyed camping and traveling. Evelyn was a devoted member of Salem Baptist Church in Stonewall. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her best and loved her most."
Evelyn was predeased in death by her husband of 76 years John L Bailiff and daughter Sherry Ann Allen.
A visitation for Evelyne will be held Friday, March 10, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71108, followed by a celebration of life service at 11:00 AM.
Evelyne will be laid to rest in Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71108; Veteran II; Lot: 211, Grave: 3.
