John Gordon probably changed his mind about their burial arrangements while waiting to bury his wife in 1895, since she died in February and could not be interred immediately.
Since the funeral group took the trolley to the cemetery when John died in 1896, and the trolley ran right next to the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, I have moved the Gordon's memorials to that cemetery.
