Mrs. Florence A. Franklin, resident of Pomona for several years died at the family home, 1285 S. Park avenue, at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon following a year's illness. Mrs. Franklin was born in Missouri August 1, 1868, and came to California 20 years ago from Springfield, Mo. Mr. Franklin passed away about 3 years ago. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Jessie Ferrell, Mrs. T. K. Harris of Pomona, Mrs. Beatrice Lathburry, Mrs. Dora Fulton, Mrs. Cova Steiner and Mrs. George Stites, all of Los Angeles ; three brothers, Isaac Bewley, Los Angeles, and Seymour and Will of Kansas ; two sisters who live in Kansas ; three sons, William A., Eugene and Sterling Franklin, all at home, 1285 S. Park avenue, 23 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mrs. Franklin was a member of the Calvary Baptist church. Funeral services will be held at the Hotchkiss funeral home Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, the Rev. Roy Larson, pastor of the Full Gospel church, officiating and burial will be in Pomona Cemetery.
