Joan had worked in the art department at Jackson China and had worked for Weight Watchers for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church, where she was very active in church affairs. Joan was also a member of the Contemporary Women's Club of DuBois and enjoyed traveling and doing crafts.
Joan is survived by two children, Crystal L. Sayers and her husband, Shawn, of DuBois, PA, and Brent A. Robertson and his wife, Ainsley, of Lake Mary, FL; five grandchildren: Tate, Gavin, and Reese Sayers, and Elsie Jane and Bevan Robertson; a great-grandson, Cleo Sayers; and a sister, Patricia "Patty" Melani of DuBois, PA.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Alburg, and brother-in-law, Pete Melani.
