Mildred Emma Whitehead died on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at her home. She was 94.
Born in Hopatcong, NJ she lived in Lincoln Park, NJ the majority of her life where she raised her family. Mildred happily embraced her role as wife, mother, and homemaker.
She was predeceased by her parents Clarence W McMickle and Rose Marie Sutton McMickle, her husband George Whitehead Jr.; two sons: George Whitehead III and Robert S. Whitehead; and her sister, Marion Schwabelmeier.
She is survived by three sons: Walter C Whitehead, Winfield Scott Whitehead and Wayne K Whitehead. She has 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and three nieces. She considered her family as her crowning glory
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 29 at 11:00 AM at Andover Cemetery.
