Patrick Crowe arrived in America on the ship Troy in 1839 with his sisters Ann and Bridget. Their ages at the time were 25, 20 and 18 respectively.
They landed in Louisville ky, where the Catholic records there show that Bridget married a William O'Brien? in 1840. However, this was short-lived as Wm succumbed early, and then Bridget married Henry S. Thompson in 1842, same church; brother Patrick was witness to one of these marriages, I believe the 2nd.
Patrick and Amanda adopted a son Thomas in or before 1850; his birth surname was possibly Williams or Loveless (unknown). Eventually Thomas's surname was Crowe, as is Thinkin's since his/my 1962 birth.
