Lynn began teaching at New London-Spicer School District 345 from 1969-1981. In 1980, she married Dean Arndt. The couple lived in Jeffers, where Lynn taught grade 9-12 Business/Social Studies at Westbrook High School and Dean farmed. Dean passed away in 2002. Lynn retired in 2011 from the consolidated district, Westbrook-Walnut Grove School, after dedicating more than 40 years to educating youth. Lynn was actively involved in Education Minnesota, the voice for professional educators and students, as well as the MN Business Teacher's Association.
Lynn was a dedicated member of the Jeffers United Methodist Church, where she was actively involved. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Jeffers Senior Citizens.
In her retirement, Lynn enjoyed her second home in San Tan Valley Arizona. She was an avid professional and collegiate sports fan and enjoyed being with friends and family. Lynn passed away of natural causes on February 18, 2023, at Banner Ironwood Hospital in Queen Creek, Arizona.
Lynn is survived by her brother, Terry (Elaine) Krahn. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
