"John Ben Norman, 81, a farmer of the Southport community, died Sunday afternoon at his home following an extended illness. A native of Maury County, he was a son of the late W. Frank and Molly Grissom Norman and attended Maury County schools. On October 10, 1924, he married Vera Carpenter who survives. He was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.
