MARSHALL - Services for William Robert Oney, 75, of Harleton, will be at 10 a.m. today, March 1, 2008, at Colonial Chapel of Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mike Midkiff and the Rev. Craig Evers officiating. Interment will be in Piney Cemetery of Harleton. Mr. Oney died February 28, 2008, at his residence.
Born July 5, 1932, in Harrison County, he was a mechanic and member of Oakgrove Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughter, Kathy Cooper; son, Robert D. Oney; brothers, Denver Oney and Everett Oney; and sisters, Mae Gilmore, Alice Oney, Mable Evans, Juanita Davidson and Faye Toombs.
