Mildred loved animals and country music. She was an avid Elvis fan with an extensive Elvis memorabilia collection. She was the past President of the Virginia Chapter of the Merle Haggard and Conway Twitty fan clubs and was a team mom to several girls/ladies softball teams throughout the years. She will be greatly missed!
She is preceded in death by her parents; Edward F. and Mary E. Allen; a brother, Hazen Allen and sister Lorraine Allen.
She is survived by her husband John Perry Stevens of Catlett; two daughters, Cheryl Frazier (Gary) of Remington and Linda Stevens of Catlett; two sons, Dennis Hughes (Sharon) of N.C. and Eddie Stevens of Catlett; her first cousin, Elsie Lunsford (Bobby) of Richmond; two nieces, Lorena Allen and Evie Allen-Mills; three nephews, Tim Allen (Kim), Lee Allen, and Chris Allen (Angelica); nine grandchildren, Misty, Josh, Shelby, Michael, Mac, Liam, Wyatt, Bryce and Brynn, and five great-grandchildren, Brandon (The love of her life), Hunter, Ellie, Kinsley and Addy.
A funeral service will be held Thursday July 22, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Avenue, Warrenton. Burial will follow in the Catlett Cemetery.
