Mary Stewart, age 93, passed away Monday, February 27, 2023, peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side following an extended illness. Mary was born on March 25, 1929 in Mexia, Texas to Adolph Carl and Fannie Fay (Bower) Stendebach. She married her first husband Thomas E. Wasser and they raised their 3 children. Later she married her second husband Charlie Stewart.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Thomas E. Wasser and second husband Charlie Stewart, her daughter Linda Sue Orsack and all of her 7 siblings.
Survivors include her children Carol Ann Prince of Bulverde and Tommy Lee Wasser of Luling. She was blessed with 6 grandchildren: Michelle, Ty David, Jason, CJ, Sean and Gina. She also had 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins that love and will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 9-11 AM at Roberson Funeral Home Chapel in Three Rivers. Graveside Funeral Service will be Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 11:30 AM at the Three Rivers Cemetery.
