HOWERTON—In this city, August 28, 1912, Clara Josephi, beloved wife of Edward B. Howerton; beloved mother of William M. Josephi, Mrs. William A. Limbaugh, Mrs. John P. Burke, Mrs. S. F. Sutherland, and the late Mrs. E. P. Rideout; devoted sister of M. H. de Young, Mrs. Louis Elkus, and Mrs. John Williams, of Washington; a native of Baltimore, Md. A member of the San Francisco Chapter, No. 196, O. E. S., of San Francisco and La Paloma Rebekah Lodge of Los Angeles.
Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend the funeral services to-day (Friday) at 1:30 o'clock p.m. from the residence of her daughter, Mr. J. P. Burke, 574 Haight street, between Fillmore and Steiner. Interment, Greenlawn Cemetery, by electric funeral car, leaving Valencia and Twenty-Eighth streets, at 3 o'clock p.m.
