Betty Jo Norton Ramsey Juraschek, age 90, left this Earth to be with her Lord and Savior on November 14th, 2022, under the care of hospice in Panama City Beach, Florida. Betty was born to Percy B. and Elsie M. Norton in Hazlehurst, Mississippi on October 21st, 1932. After graduating from Hazlehurst City schools, she attended Millsaps College and on to the University of Alabama where she was a member of Chi Omega. Upon graduation from the University of Alabama, she married and moved to Dothan, Alabama where she would raise her children until her return to her home state of Mississippi. Later in life, she married Robert F. Juraschek with whom she spent many happy years. Betty was a member of Word of Life Highland Colony (formally Christ Life), Ridgeland, Mississippi. She was also a long-time member of Southside Assembly of God. She walked in faith always. Betty was predeceased by her parents Percy Bell and Elsie Miller Norton, her husband Robert "Bob" Franklin Juraschek, and grandson Jeffrey Todd Webb Jr. Surviving to cherish her memory are children Richard "Ric" H. Ramsey IV (Estella), Roberta Ramsey, Rebecca Ramsey, all of Panama City Beach, Florida, and Rhonda Webb (Jeff) of Montgomery, Alabama; grandchildren Nikki Purvis, Jordan Beaver, Jayden Erickson (Scott), and Ramsey L. Webb, and her five great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 26th at 2:00 Hazlehurst Cemetery, Sinclair Street. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations to the Todd Webb Scholarship Fund through Central Alabama Community Fund or Word of Life Highland Colony.
