Nykan Ezekiel Detamore, beloved son of Shawn and Jessica Lynn (Taylor) Detamore, returned to his Lord on Friday, January 7, 2005, at Columbus Children's Hospital while waiting for a heart transplant. He was born on May 9, 2004, at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Nykan is survived by his parents, Shawn and Jessica of Westerville, OH; grandparents, Olive Moore of New Martinsville, WV, Gregory Detamore of Columbus, OH, Larry and Elaine Taylor of Lizemores, WV; great-grandparents, Jane Moore of Arnold, MD, Constance Dodson of Cambridge, MD, Escar and Betty Taylor of Lizemores, WV and many aunts, uncles, cousins and relatives. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 13, 2005 at the Lizemores Church of the Nazarene with Minister Robert Thomas officiating . Burial will follow in the Morton Cemetery at Lizemores. Friends may call between 6 and 9 p.m. Wednesday at Carl Wilson Funeral Home, Clay. He will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew him. Those who wish to honor his memory may choose to become organ donors.
