Born LaNelle Elaine Hoffman on Dec. 1, 1949 in Cleveland, TX to Irving Robert Hoffman and Mabel LaRue Hoffman. LaNelle grew up in Southern California and from an early age had a great love of animals and critter's of all kinds. She was passionate about preparedness and spent much time teaching and giving lectures on that topic and even published a book. She loved antiques and beautifully furnished her home with them. For the last 20 years of her life she lived in Manti, UT and truly felt at home there. She loved being near the temple and felt at peace living in that special town.
