Eunice was the only daughter of Jeremiah Lathrop and Lydia Armstrong. She was married in Norwich about 1776 to Rodolphus Elderkin and lived near present day Franklin, Connecticut. She inheritanted land in Windham Co from her father's estate and after the sale of the property moved to New Caanan, New York and then on to Cooperstown, wher she was living up to 1820. Her husband Rodolphus moved to Fredonia, New York, but it is not known if Eunice also made this trip.
