Barry Bynum, 69, of Bridgeport, died Monday, July 28, 2014, in Decatur. Graveside service is 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at Jim Ned Cemetery in Runaway Bay with Melvin Castleberry officiating.
Barry was born June 30, 1945, in Olney. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Vietnam. He was employed at Jerry's GMC in Weatherford for 24 years, and he married Brenda Bynum July 29, 1988.
Barry was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Mary Bynum.
Survivors include sons Chad Bynum and wife, Jennifer and Jason Johnson and wife, Lindsey; daughters Kristie Claunch and husband, Billy, and Melissa Succetti; brother George Bynum; sister Janie Keesee and husband, David; and grandchildren Chera Claunch, Kyle Claunch, Madison Andreasen, Aislee Bynum, Krimsen Succetti and Lakota Mason.
Memorials may be made to the Bridgeport Band Booster Club at any First Financial Bank.
