Age 81, son of the late Lloyd E. and Winifred M. Wadsworth Otteni. Allan graduated from Fairview High School in 1961. He spent most of his career as an HVAC technician, ran his own business in the eighties, and taught his trade at Triangle Tech. After he retired, he drove school bus for special needs children. Throughout his life, he enjoyed working on cars, golfing, and spending time with his family. He loved Jesus and believed in helping others.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Lillian (Granny) Wadsworth and brothers Larry and Richard Otteni; nephew Larry Otteni Jr. and niece Danielle Otteni Farver.
Besides his wife of fifty-four years, Diane J. (Krupp) Otteni, he is survived by his children: Patrick Otteni (Sandi), Cindy Otteni Heintz (Leo); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother, David Otteni (Mary), sisters-in-law, Wendy and Patricia Otteni, along with many nieces and nephews; and family friends, Carmen and Linda MacDonald, Chuck and Sondra Kauffman.
