Mr. A. J. Haywood of Sandy Ridge township died in a Charlotte hospital Thursday, death resulting from a tumor. Only two weeks ago Mr. Haywood's wife died. Four small children, who are making their home with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Haywood, survive.
