James was the husband of Helen Motte Shetley,James and I were married on Oct. 21,1967... We were married for 55 years... And the father of James H.Shetley.
He was the son of Woodrow and Lueilla Shetley and Dot and James Smith...
He had three sisters Annie,Carole and Brenda...
James was a master Plumber,and the owner of SHETLEYS
PLUMBING...
My husband was a good man and a very good Husband and Father..To know him was too love him and everyone who knew him did...For a few years he drove a gas truck and I was glad when he quit that job..he worked long hours...James was a hard worker,he was not lazy...He loved to fish, hunt, read and go to the flea market,the restore and yard sale..James loved his pets, dogs Badger and Pal -his cats Baby Callie,Big Boy and all the other dogs and cats we had ...JONESVILLE, SC

Mr. James Thomas Shetley, age 79, husband of Helen Motte Shetley of 1441 West Springs Hwy., Jonesville, passed away, Wednesday, February 23, 2023 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home.
Mr. Shetley was born in Union Co., February 17, 1944, a son of the late Woodrow W. Shetley and Dorothy Johnson Smith. He was a retired plumber having operated his own business, Shetley's Plumbing for a number of years. Mr. Shetley was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, James H. Shetley of the home; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Johnnie Lynn Mather of Gaffney; and his fur babies, Badger and Pal. Mr. Shetley was predeceased by three sisters, Annie Ruth Robinson, Carol Shetley and Brenda Shetley.
A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
