Addison Leroy Dearth was born on August 6, 1918, in Ross County, and departed this life at the home of his parents in Deercreek Township September 15, 1920, aged 2 years, 1 month and 9 days.

This infant son of Elva and Lillie Dearth goes to join three others who preceded him to the Great Beyond. During his short, sweet life, he was called upon to suffer greatly. However, he bore it patiently, until his Maker saw best to call him home.

Besides his parents, this friendly little soul leaves two brothers, Lewis and Russell; and one sister, Esther, to mourn their loss.

From morning suns and evening dews,
At first thy little being came.
Altho so small we grieve to lose,
Yet when we die we are the same.
The space between is but an hour,
The frail duration of a flower.

Funeral services were held at the Salem Reformed Church, south of Kingston, Friday afternoon at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. McCullough of Frankfort. Interment at the same place by Director Hill.
