Ruth Lillian McKee, 81, who was a Clark County resident for most of her life, died Feb. 20, 1997, in Vancouver. She had retired from the state Department of Social and Health Services.

Two husbands, Edward and Leon, and a daughter, Virginia, preceded her in death.

Survivors include a grandson, Thomas H. Etter of Vancouver.

Mrs. McKee was born May 16, 1915, in Portland. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the Army Veterans Auxiliary and had been a director of the Rosemere Community Center.

There will be no service. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 11807 N.E. 99th St., Suite 1160, Vancouver, WA 98682; or Diabetes Association, 3434 Martin Way N.E., Olympia, WA 98506.
