Leo Ray Brower passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 18, 2023 at his home in Redding surrounded by his loving family. He was 93 years old. L-2 is finally at home in truck driver heaven.

Leo was born on October 30, 1929 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He was a farm hand in his younger years in the Happy Valley area. He drove truck throughout the better part of his life. Leo started driving a logging truck in Yreka, then a lumber truck for Hyampom Lumber. He was a millwright at Hyampom Lumber for a couple of years, also. Leo also drove a chip truck out of Weaverville to the coast. He retired at the age of 75 from SST Oil, Inc. in Redding after driving a tanker truck for 30 years.

Leo leaves behind two children, Larry Brower and his wife Louanna of Cottonwood, and Diane Jauken and her husband Rick of Wasco, Oregon; a sister, Betty Hecker of Cottonwood; and many grandkids, great grandkids, a great great grandson, and many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to his niece, Victoria, who was such a big help with Leo.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery in Yreka.
