Funeral services for Robert "Bob" Rinker, 57, were held at the Jones & Casey Funeral Home on Wednesday 17 July 1991 at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Wilfred Keele of the Faith Biblee Church of Salmon officiating.

Mr. Rinker was born 23 February 1934, the son of John E. and Elsie M. Simington Rinker. He died suddenly on 12 July 1991 in Ellensburg, Washington.

Growing up in Roberts, Idaho, he attended school and worked on farms until he moved to Salmon in 1948, where he finished his schooling. Mr. Rinker married Leroice Ann Wheeler on 28 March 1955 in Salmon. They then moved to Anaconda, Montana, where they lived for several years while he worked at the Anaconda Smelter. In 1959 they returned to Salmon and he went to work for the Intermountain Company. They moved out of the Salmon area until 1961, when the family again returned and he worked at the sawmill until retiring in November of 1983.

Mr. Rinker is survived by two sons, Robert Wayne Rinker and Rickey Dean Rinker; one daughter, Sandy Dee Rinker, all of Salmon. Also surviving are five brothers, John E. Rinker of Idaho City, Earl Rinker of Salt Lake City, Utah, Edward Rinker of Burley, James Rinker of Salmon; and one sister, Irene Rinker Olson of Salmon; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ann; two sisters, Bessie Rinker Croft and Elsie Rinker Tracy.

Mickey Tewald provided the music: "Just a Closer Walk With Thee" and "Peace in the Valley". Pallbearers were Steve Gott, Blair Smith, Ed Torney, Vance Marvin, Virgil Olson and Bill Baker. Honorary pallbearers were: Clair Meeks, John E. Rinker, Edward Rinker, Richard Rinker, Earl Rinker and James Rinker.

Burial took place in the Salmon Cemetery.
