"Kathleen B. Weinel, 79, of Lee's Summit, MO., was called home by her Lord on Friday, April 1st, 2005, at sunset, surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 5th, 2005, at Peace Lutheran Church, 8240 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, April 4th, at the Park Lawn Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Peace Lutheran Church. Mrs. Weinel was born October 25th, 1925, in Iberia, MO. and had lived in this area most of her life. She worked for the Internal Revenue Service before retiring. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. Her husband of 52 years, Carey H. Weinel Sr., preceded her in death in 1999.
