Mrs. Adelaide Denmead, 92, former Fort Madison resident, died Saturday, January 27, at Canoga Park, Calif.
The former Adelaide Brown, she was born at Appleton, Wis., May 26, 1886.
She was married to Harry Denmead, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son John of Canoga Park; and seven grandchildren.
A son David preceded her in death.
The body will be brought to Marshalltown for burial.

Samuel Brown (1758-1841) was placed on pension in 1831 for service as a private, Massachusetts state troops. He was born in Worcester Co. Mass., died in Washington Co., Ohio.
Ebenezer Foster (1733-1811) was an adjutant of the Worcester County militia, 1776. Born in Salem and died in Oakham, Mass.
Frederick Hesser (1763-1851) entered the army as a drummer at 13 and served 4 enlistments during the war.
