Connie M. Branstetter, age 87, entered into the presence of the Lord surrounded by her family on February 16, 2023, at 9:16 am, at The Springs of Lima.
Connie was born January 2, 1936, in Elida, OH to H. Stanley Dershem and I. Irene (Sawmiller) Sunderland who both preceded her in death.
On January 15, 1954, she married Gordon E. Branstetter who survives in Lima, OH.
Connie is also survived by her daughter, Susan (Douglas) Callahan of Lima, OH, 5 grandchildren: Leah Branstetter, Jacob Branstetter, Benjamin Branstetter, Steven (Jaclyn) Callahan and Julie Callahan, a brother, Rex (Janice) Dershem of Elida, OH and a sister, Kay Carey of Spencerville, OH.
She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Branstetter and a brother in-law, Darrell Carey.
Connie was a 1954 graduate of Spencerville High School.
She was a homemaker and will be remembered as being a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
There will be a private family funeral service held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Allentown Cemetery at a later date.
