Opal "Jeannie" Shores, 74 of Graceville, passed away December 19, 2022.


Born in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to the late Ralph and Viola Gilbert Dubose, Mrs. Jeannie was a graduate of Walton High School and attended FSU. She lived in Central Florida where she was an Interior Designer for several years before moving to Graceville. She attended New Home Baptist Church.


Survived by her husband Leonard "Lenny" Shores, one daughter Kerrie Bishop (Randy), one sister Sandra Moses and several grandchildren.


A Celebration of Her Life will be 2 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2022, at New Home Baptist Church.


She will be placed, by her first husband Stan, in Barrancas National Cemetery at a later time.
