MOREHEAD CITY - Benjamin Randall Alford, 81, of Morehead City died Wednesday at his home. Mr.
Alford was the son of the late Rev.
John William and Lucy EllaDene Voliva Alford.
Funeral Services with Masonic rites will be 7:00 PM Thursday at Brooks Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. W. Burkette Raper, President Emeritus of Mount Olive College, officiating.
Survivors: wife, Mary Pickett Alford; son, Benjamin Randall "Randy" Alford, Jr. of Morehead City; stepson, Quincy Stimpson of Morehead City; step daughters and husbands, Sharon Stimpson Wells and Dr. James M. Wells of Newport, Jane Stimpson Hunter and Jack Hunter of Morehead City; Susan Stimpson Moran and Michael Moran of Morehead City; sisters, Bessie Alford Lewis of Knightdale, Ruth Alford Read of Cary; grandchildren. Lisa Davis, Justin Rose, Mary Moran. Parker Moran. Catherine M.Wells, MacSherry Wells, Samantha Stimpson and Courtney Stimpson.
The family will receive friends at
Brooks Funeral Home from 6-7 pm
Thursday prior to the service.
