Her second marriage was to the widowed Robert John Turner, son of Richard Turner and his wife Elizabeth Rede, on December 26, 1846 at St. James Cathedral Church, Toronto, Ontario.
Upon her second marriage Nura became the step-mother to Robert's 4 children with his first wife Maria Patrick:
1. Mary Emma "Polly" Turner, or. 1837
2. Frank Edwin Prince Turner, born 1838
3. Robert Charles Turner, born 1841
4. Maria "Trottie" Turner, born 1843
Nura and Robert had 3 sons:
5. George Richard Turner, born 1848
6. Thomas William Turner, born 1850
7. Charles Conrad Turner, born 1852
Nura's remains are interred in St James Cemetery in Toronto, but not in the Turner plot.
